We can even finish the piece or pieces to match your existing furniture. Please enquire about this service at time of order.

Tips for drawing a good diagram for your new piece of made-to-tmeasure furniture:

Accurate measurements - Height, Depth and Width

All external measurements do include the plinth and any overhangs.

Ensure any specific internal or external measurements are specified and allow for the thickness of the timber.

Allow for circumstances such as getting up stairs and through doorways for large pieces of furniture.

Which type of wood do you want? Oak or Pine?

Oak - is a hardwood, but is more expensive due to production costs and value of the material.

Pine - is a softwood, but is cheaper than oak. It can also be finished to match your furniture - talk to a salesperson in store about how we finish our pine furniture. Some finishes are included in the price but some incur a small charge.

A solid wood product should never be placed next to a heat source or in direct sunlight, as this may cause bleaching and even excessive movement of joints and panels. Pine being a softwood is more susceptible to this than hardwoods such as oak.

We do NOT make to measure beds or chairs.

However we do have a large selection of beds and chairs in our store.
